Business, investing and wealth planning has been inherent to Dave since his childhood. Dave’s past experience of growing up in a family-owned business, has given him an appreciation for the unique challenges business owners’ face. Dave’s professional experience is in both business and hospitality, including owning and managing commercial real estate, leading and managing businesses, including Blake Farms & Blake’s Hard Cider Co.
Dave focuses on the needs of privately held business owners and their families. Helping to preserve and grow their family legacy by navigating critical financial decisions from accurately valuing their business, to tax strategies, to creating a wealth plan designed to maximize financial potential.
Dave graduated from Albion College with a major in Economics and Management from the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management. He is currently a member at Woodside Bible Church, the National Ski Patrol, Truth at Work and Detroit Economic Club. His favorite activities include trips to Petoskey on the weekends, boating, golf, skiing, sporting clays, and traveling. He lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife Rebecca, their two children, Ender and Keira, and their dog Seger.
